I am sorry these posts were delayed. I have an approval system for posts to avoid spam, but unfortunately the email notifications about the approvals were labeled "spam" and I just now saw these.

First, w1415 I understand your frustration and I hope my blog post tonight explains why development has been slow. I fully accept my error in planning and will do my best to remedy the situation with the next few releases. I apologize for the lack of updates and hope you are willing to give the product a second look with 1.2.

Ozgur, this is a known issue with the current reporting mechanism. Version 1.3 will contain new reports and some additional features, including the option to exclude transfers from reports so you don't get this double reporting issue.

Thanks for commenting - Mike.

Thanks for the great product. I really enjoy using it.

I would like to ask you about an issue re reporting. When I transfer money from my bank account to a credit card account, this card payment appears under the income section of reporting. Then, reports almost double the actual income value.

I can't solve this when I exclude the credit card account from reporting, because I need it.

What's the best solution to this? Does the solution already exist?

Thanks

Imagine my excitement when I saw the alert that a new version of Prospects was available. At last, I thought, after many months of promises, version 1.2 is here. But no, it is just 1.1.4 which contains no more than a few bug fixes. I am now in the process of starting again with another app. Prospect could have taken the lead as the Mac finance app but there are too many gaps in it and the pace of development is hopelessly slow.
